Mullet Bay

If you love golf then you’ll feel right at home at Mullet Bay. It’s here where you will find the island’s only 18-hole golf club, which is one of the star attractions of the area. The golf club is open to the public and attracts a considerable amount of visitors at some point during their trip to Sint Maarten. The Sonesta Maho Beach Resort is just on the edge of the golf course and an ideal place to stay if you wish to be close to the green for an early morning tee off!

The concrete road that winds through Mullet Bay is not in the best condition, mainly due to the fact that it was never designed to withstand such a high volume of traffic as it does today. The Starz Casino complex can be found to the western edge of the golf course, which also plays host for a handful of top class restaurants too.

Mullet Beach is believed to be one of the prettiest beaches on the Dutch side, with its moon shaped bay, perfectly soft white sand and slow rolling waves lapping the shore. Mullet Beach certainly fits the picture of a tropical beach; wide and flat with a stand of palm trees on the fringe.

Blue Mall is a surprisingly large shopping complex very close to Mullet Bay that never fails to disappoint any Sint Maarten shopaholic. Here you can browse and buy a whole selection of designer brand names and luxury items practically fit for any queen.

Mullet Bay and Porto Cupecoy are the final destinations on the Dutch side, before the French border.
