Baie Nettle

Baie Nettle, or Nettle Bay, has a unique distinction from other destinations across the island because it is a small strip of land with both lagoon and ocean beaches. Guests from the nearby hotels and watersport businesses along the lagoon side can take full advantage of the calm clear waters, which are perfect for children, various watersports and swimming.

The ocean side beaches are less suited to swimming as the ground is rocky under foot and waters shallow. The bay is however, a popular place to dine at the water front restaurants or enjoy sunset drinks at the local bars. There are few shops in Baie Nettle and the village – it is more common to see rental apartments, condos or privately owned studios along this stretch, both on the lagoon and ocean side.
