Simpson Bay Beach St Maarten was once a popular spot for local families who revolved their lives around the fishing industry. Fisherman would get up and out on their boat before the sun even woke up. Today, Simpson Bay Beach St Maarten is more tailored towards the tourism industry with its numerous residential properties, resorts and holiday homes dotted along the entire one mile length.
