Orient Bay Beach St Martin is a real hot spot for a whole variety of people. Some visitors stop here for the amazing food and drink; numerous beach bars and restaurants offer a wide range of food options, from local dishes and fast food to formal French favourites. There are also plenty of shops and boutiques close to the beach too, ideal for some quick retail therapy.

Some visitors come here for the stunning beach alone; 2 miles of silky white sand, clear turquoise sea and a constant feel good vibe wherever you go. The beach is well protected by a reef from the Atlantic Sea, although it can still get a little breezy and cooler at times. Although not common knowledge, Orient Bay Beach is actually split up into 5 main beaches called Kontiki, Kakao, Bikini Beach, Waikiki and Coco Beach. Each is named after its respective beach bars, which sit alongside one another. Whatever your drink, one of these bars will be able to fulfil your needs.

Others however, come to Orient Bay Beach St Martin to shed their swimwear and indulge in a little skinny dipping. On the southern end of the beach you’ll find Club Orient, the most famous Caribbean resort for visitors who prefer to spend their holiday without clothes. Over the years this laid back approach to swimwear has been adopted by others; it’s now not uncommon to see the odd nude sunbather anywhere along Orient Bay, but most still tend to stay in front of Club Orient. Here you are very much invited to rid yourself of any unsightly tan lines if you wish, although not compulsory.
