Grand Case Beach St Martin

Grand Case Beach St Martin is a pretty sweeping curve where perfectly white soft sand meets the calm, clear Caribbean Sea. It’s about a mile long and is situated on St Martin’s northwest coast. Grand Case beach is unique because it combines beach fun with village life; a truly wonderful concoction. The beach is perfect for swimming and there are even a few good snorkelling spots at either end of the beach, or around the reef at Creole Rock. Sail boats anchored just off the shore create the prefect photo opportunity as the sun sets beyond the horizon out to sea. The beach is often quiet in many areas because most visitors choose to relax on loungers within particular establishments, who quickly find themselves torn between a surprisingly large drinks menu. From Grand Case Beach St Martin there is a stunning view out across to neighbouring Anguilla and Creole Rock.

The area is known for being the gastronomical capital of St Martin, particularly at night. No matter what your taste buds may desire, you’ll be able to find something suitable either along the beach or in the village. There are some midrange restaurants, bars and eateries along Grand Case Beach, all offering plenty of choice for lunch and dinner. If you are trying to be a little frugal with your money, head to the market square (Lolos) down on the front to sample delicious grilled seafood, local treats and lots of barbecued delights. It’s a really authentic Caribbean experience and has a wonderful buzz about the place. These simple beach side restaurants are essential to the Caribbean dining experience.

Small and midsize hotels are sandwiched between various private homes, bars and shops, close to the beach. The area is affordable for those on a slightly tighter budget as it’s not all just about large luxury resorts and villas on Grand Case Beach St Martin. This is also the closest beach to the second (smaller) airport on St Martin, Grand Case Regional Airport.
